At United Credit Union, our members are our owners, and your ownership is secured by your initial deposit of $1.00 in your share (savings) account. There is no fee to join the credit union.
Your share puts you on equal footing with all other credit union members, regardless of how much money you have on deposit. Each member/owner receives one vote during election at the annual membership meeting, and you may also serve your credit union as a volunteer on the board of directors or supervisory committee.
Come into one of our offices or open an account online. In order to open an account, you must:
- Work or reside in the following counties: Adair, Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Chariton, Howard, Lincoln, Linn, Macon, Marion, Monroe, Montgomery, Pike, Ralls, Randolph, and Shelby

Meet membership eligibility and have a government issued ID.

Have your Social Security Number available.

Provide proof of address.

Bring a minimum of $1 (cash or check), to deposit into your share (savings) account.
That’s it! You’re a member of United Credit Union. Now, you can begin using all of our banking services.
